It's back! The event over at Equestria Daily which got me hooked on drawing ponies to begin with. The second round is up and running, and I intend to enter every single day, regardless of sleep loss and deadline panic. There are a crazy number of entries so far - two days in, we've almost beat last years. While I'm excited by that figure, I'm also a little bit saddened. When it's on such a large scale, you simply don't have the tight-knit feeling from before. I know I won't be able to enjoy spending an hour poring over all the day's entries now because there is simply a hopelessly large number of them. At any rate, I'm thrilled to have Phoe

Anyone who takes a quick look at this page can see that I have stagnated in terms of art. I haven't created a substantial work since this time last year, when Equestria Daily's Artist Training Grounds first captivated me. I may have been busy, but mostly I just let it slide and procrastinated my way out of being creative. No more. By summer's end, I will have amassed not only a larger body of artwork, but the skills and techniques to do even better. I will learn Adobe Illustrator (which I first opened two days ago), improve my artistic skills, and most importantly - do something fun and productive with my summer. Oh, and...there will be poni

In case anybody noticed, i haven't submitted art for either of the weekly events so far with the Artist Alumni. My personal life has been getting quite busy with a new job, personal events and continuing machinima work, so something had to go and I'm afraid that thing will be pony drawings, for now. I still love MLP, love fellow bronies, and love seeing all your art (as much as i can keep up with - 2700 unread art alerts are staring me down right now). I'll still do my best to look at what you guys put out there despite my backlog. Also, I hope to get back to it one day, especially if theres an artist training grounds version 2. Love you al
